Business Associate Agreement

A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is required if the contractor receives Protected Health Information (PHI) through the contract, and is providing any of the following services: legal, actuarial, accounting, consulting, data aggregation, management, administrative, accreditation, and financial. More information on when a BAA is and is not required can be found on the Health and Human Services website.
