Kentucky Managed Care Plans Prior Authorizations (PA): The revised Kentucky Managed Care Plans Prior Authorization by Behavioral Health Service Comparison is now available.
CMS PERM RY 2026: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) for RY 2026 is underway. Every three years, the PERM program measures and reports improper Medicaid and CHIP payments for each state. PERM is not a fraud rate, but a measurement of payments that did not meet statutory, regulatory, or administrative requirements.
DMS' Division of Program Integrity will serve as the state's central point of contact and assist with collection of medical records. Questions or concerns should be directed to Kentucky's PERM Project Management, Jamie Biggs, at jami.biggs@ky.gov.
