Respite care provides short-term relief for primary, unpaid caregiver(s).

The Kentucky Respite Provider Directory is a free, statewide online resource that connects caregivers with respite providers throughout the Commonwealth. Caregivers can search by location, services offered, populations served, and other preferences to find the support that best meets their needs.

Complete the Respite Provider Agency Registration Form​

Individuals

Complete the National Respite Care Provider Training, including all required evaluations. Upon successful completion of the required training courses, TRAIN will generate a certificate of completion. Participants can download and retain a copy of the certificate for their records.​​

​​The Kentucky Respite Connection Coalition brings together caregivers, providers, organizations, and community partners to strengthen respite services across Kentucky. Members identify gaps, build partnerships, and help shape a more accessible statewide respite system. Be part of the change.

​​​These respite services were developed through the Kentucky Respite Connection funded by the Lifespan Respite Grant, a statewide initiative led by the CHFS partnership with family caregivers, respite providers, state agencies, and community organizations. Together, these partners identified the need for a centralized, easy-to-use resource that helps caregivers locate respite providers while increasing provider visibility.​
