FRYSC Training Information

Training Module for Principals and other School Leaders

All principals employed after July 1, 2024, are required to complete the principal module. However, any school leader can register for the course and acquire 1.5 hours of EILA credit upon completing the three module quizzes.

Please note: The Division of FRYSC will receive verification of completion on a regular basis, therefore principals are not required to send their certificate of completion.

Advisory Council Training

Advisory Councils play an essential role in the success of Family Resource and Youth Services Centers, helping ensure programs reflect the needs of students, families, and the community. These two modules provide an overview of the roles and responsibilities of the FRYSC Coordinator and Advisory Council members, and how they work together to support effective planning, decision-making and program success.

Victory Over Violence Conference

The Victory Over Violence Conference addresses the safety and well-being of the whole child in the school and community by addressing social and emotional development issues and family engagement.

Workshops are applicable for FRYSCs as well as all other youth and family-focused professionals.
