The CHFS Health Services Administrative Hearings Branch hearing officers conduct hearings and render findings of fact, conclusions of law and recommended orders or final decisions on matters involving the Office of Certificate of Need; Office of Inspector General; Department for Medicaid Services; Department for Public Health; the Department for Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addiction Services; Department for Aging and Independent Living; Department for Family Resource Center and Volunteer Services; and the Department for Community Based Services (specifically hearings requested in response to CHFS investigation of substantiated findings a person perpetrated abuse or neglect of a child or adult).
