Dispenser Reporting Information

Pharmacies and other providers who administer or dispense controlled substances in Kentucky are required to report to KASPER within one business day of the administration or dispensing as provided for under KRS 218A.202 and 902 KAR 55:110.

Health Information Designs (HID) serves as the KASPER data collection agent for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and has prepared a dispenser implementation guide with instructions for registering to report to KASPER. The guide also provides details on requirements and standards for reporting to KASPER and reporting requirement exemptions.
