KARES Legislation Information

KARES Administrative Regulation

On June 13, 2013, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services filed new administrative regulation 906 KAR 1:190 to establish procedures for implementing KARES as a voluntary program. The regulation was adopted in December 2013.

KARES Legislation

The Cabinet for Health and Family Services is pursuing legislation House Bill 277 in the 2014 General Session. Additional details will be forthcoming.
