Portrait of Doctor in White Coat e-Health is one of the few policy options with the ability to lower health care costs, increase quality of care, and improve the health of Kentuckians while also enhancing economic opportunity in the Commonwealth.  e-Health consists of two parts: the adoption of health information technology (HIT), such as electronic medical records in clinical settings, and health information exchange (HIE), the ability to exchange health information electronically between two entities when appropriate. Kentucky e-Health Summit

The 2nd annual e-Health Summit held in Lexington December 6 & 7 with 250 attendees provided a great opportunity for everyone interested in e-Health across the Commonwealth to explore the current state of e-Health in Kentucky and to discuss our future direction.

e-Prescribing Round I Report

During 2007, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) and the Kentucky e-Health Network Board undertoof five e-Prescribing grants.
