Health Care Access Branch

The Health Care Access Branch focuses on access to primary care for the citizens of Kentucky and houses the State's Primary Care Office.

This branch administers programs relating to medical, dental and mental health primary care that impact the poor and uninsured, including:

• Chartible Health Registration
• Health Professional Shortage Areas/Medically Underserved Populations
• J-1 Visa Waiver Programs
• Kentucky Physician's Care Program
• Kentucky Prescription Assistance Program
• Kentucky Spinal Cord and Head Injury Research Board
• The National Health Service Corps
