The Kentucky African-American and Latino Leadership Conference
The annual African-American and Latino Leadership Conference focuses on HIV/AIDS education, information dissemination, technical assistance, HIV Testing and medical updates in efforts to mobilize the African-American and Latino communities in Kentucky. Individuals from all walks of life are provided the skills and knowledge to return to their communities and implement interventions to stop the spread of HIV.
This conference is for anyone interested in stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS, including health care and social service professionals who are involved and/or are planning direct delivery of services for people living with HIV/AIDS, as well as those who are interested in improving the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS . Leaders in all segments of the community, particularly schools, youth groups, public housing, churches or businesses are asked to attend to get information and gain knowledge to mobilize communities in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
