Division of Program Performance

The division of Program Performance houses Quality Control, Public Assistance Review and Food Stamp Review which was formerly with the Office of the Ombudsman.

Quality Control Branch

Public Assistance Review Section

Staff conduct statewide Medicaid Quality Control reviews to comply with state and federal Medicaid Quality Control standards. This section reviews program case performance for various programs including Kentucky Works, Medicaid and adult medical cases. Reports are prepared for the federal government, the Cabinet and the Department of Medicaid Services.

Food Stamp Review Section

Staff conduct food stamp quality control reviews and provide information to the federal government and the Cabinet. They also prepare the annual state food stamp quality control sampling plan.
