The Kentucky Hemophilia Program, part of the Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs (CCSHCN), provides ongoing care to children and adults with hemophilia. We promote coordinated care for patients with the goal of improved overall health and fewer complications. The Kentucky Hemophilia Program provides financial assistance for factor and medications needed to control bleeding in the case of lost medical benefits.
Eligibility for patients with hemophilia, regardless of age, is determined by financial status, family size, outstanding medical expenses and the severity of the disease. For more information contact the hemophilia office:
